What we will do
  • We leave the port on our coach headed to the Boat Lagoon pier where a motorboat is waiting to take us to the private island of Rang Yai.
  • We wear our life jackets and board the motorboat for our 15-minute transfer to Rang Yai, located approximately 5 km off the western coast of Phuket. This small island is covered in thick vegetation including coconut trees and pine trees and is famous for its white sandy beaches as well as for the farming of pearls, which are then exported all over the world.
  • Once there, a local guide provides us with information on the island and on the activities available.
  • After wearing our bathing costume, we are ready to spend a few hours relaxing on the beach as we take in the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea
  • Our day in Rang Yai also includes a delicious buffet lunch featuring exquisite local and international specialities including some excellent grilled fish prepared directly on the beach and a beverage of our choice from either beer or a soft drink.
  • After making the most of the island’s relaxing atmosphere, we board the motorboat back to Boat Lagoon. Before returning to the ship, we stop at the famous Wang Talang shopping centre* to buy a few souvenirs or local handicrafts.
  • When the time available comes to an end, a coach takes us back to the port and to the ship.

What you need to know
  • This excursion is not recommended to children, pregnant women, guests with back or mobility problems and wheelchair users.
  • Do not forget to bring a towel, bathing costume, a hat, sun cream, sunglasses and a change of clothes.
  • We recommend wearing loose clothing, sandals or comfortable shoes.
  • When on board the jet ski, it is mandatory to wear a life jacket.
