What we will do
  • Leaving the port behind us, we set off to explore Fort-de-France Bay, the commercial capital of the Island of Martinique. The city was founded in 1635 with the name of 'Cul de Sac Du Fort Royal', a name which it maintained until 1672 when it was renamed 'Fort Royal', to be renamed again in 1807 as 'Fort de France' by Napoleon Bonaparte. Currently it has a population of 90,000.
  • Our tour takes us to theBat Cave where we have the opportunity to swim and do some snorkeling in the splendid Caribbean waters to admire the brightly coloured tropical fish.
  • We then proceed to Anse Dufour, one of the most beautiful Caribbean beaches where we will experience the second snorkeling session among coloured fish and corals.
  • On the way back to the ship, we listen to Caribbean music as we sip the famous rum punch.
