The programme

•            We board our coach and leave the port behind us for a panoramic tour of Cádiz, where we will appreciate some of the most characteristic locations of the city centre. We visit the old Tobacco Factory, built in 1741 in the typical mudéjar style and now used as the Palace of Congress. We also admire the magnificent Santo Domingo Church, located along the Cuesta de las Calesas, with its marble side wall, and the hornacina, the niche that houses the Virgin of El Rosario, the patron saint of the city.

•            Our itinerary continues with the old Royal Prison, one of Andalusia's most interesting neoclassical buildings. It was begun in 1794 and was only completed in 1836 and is a perfect combination of majesty and elegance.

•            Cádiz boasts a fascinating history, and a wealth of monuments and buildings of inestimable value such as the Roman Theatre, one of the largest on the Iberian peninsula. Only discovered in 1980, it also offers a view of the Old and New Cathedrals.

•            We will continue our trip through history with the 'Caleta', once a Phoenician port, the walls of the San Sebastián and Santa Catalina fortifications

•            Before returning to the ship, we will visit Plaza San Juan de Dios and the City Hall, the building that best reflects the style of the city.
